In my work, in the field of NMR spectroscopy, I have been using xenon porometry
for determining pore sizes of porous materials. But most recently I have been
studying molecules dissolved in liquid crystals with the variable angle
spinning (VAS) NMR, which provides an accurate method of investigating the
geometry of the dissolved molecules.
