I am interested in studying the physics of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in isotropic liquids, liquid crystals and biological systems, in particular NMR of small probe molecules or atoms dissolved in liquid crystals. This involves also new methods for performing rovibrational averaging of anisotropic molecular properties and for dealing with the effects of intermolecular forces on molecules and atoms.
