My research interests focus on the following topics:
NMR spectroscopy of
- liquids (determination of shielding and spin-spin coupling
constants and spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation times),
- small solute molecules in liquid crystals (determination of
molecular geometry, and shielding, spin-spin coupling and
quadrupole coupling tensors),
- noble gase in lyotropic, nematic and ferroelectric liquid crystals
(investigation of phase transitions, phase diagrams, orientation and
electric field gradients), and
- adsorbants in zeolites and molecular sieves (investigation of the
effects of the cations and channel shape on nuclear shielding
tensors)
